Neecha Thai Cuisine was established in 1988 at the corner of Sutter and Steiner in San Francisco. Neecha’s mother, Saranya, designed a large menu based on her unique Thai-Chinese-Isaan background. Half of the menu was dedicated to vegetarian offerings that Neecha’s vegetarian grandmother had once enjoyed.
Now, nearly a quarter of a century later, Neecha Thai in Oakland is a blend of three generations of delicious Thai cuisine. From favorites at our flagship restaurant to creative new dishes, we offer rice and noodle dishes with an emphasis on balance and health. Most dishes come with vegetables or salad and a slice of fruit to round out your meal, and we also offer white jasmine rice, brown rice, sticky rice, and quinoa.
Our produce is purchased fresh daily and we do not use flavor additives like MSG. When you dine with us, you can count on a fresh and flavorful meal!
